My child attends afterschool at Martial Arts Plus! Awesome program. He does a very structured class every day which helps with his attention. . Overall, the instructor is strict, but she offers reward programs that work well with my child who sometimes becomes frustrated. I recommend the afterschool program for elementary school children. The evening Taekwondo classes are good for all ages! I also took classes there when I was a teenager (years ago!) and received my black belt. I competed nationally and met many people that I am still in touch with!
My experience started off great. They tell you everything you want to hear just to get your money. The camp is very unorganized. None of the teens Joey hired pay attention to the children. Atleast not until they do something wrong then Joey labels them as "hyper". This place is a joke. Very rude staff. Don't speak to you coming or going. They tell you one price but field trips are NOT included and Mondays are MANDATORY. What if our child doesn't want to go? Thats insane. Just think wisely especially if you are of color of ANY kind. As only white kids are calm let Joey tell it.
I am a manager and my daughter takes classes here. She loves it! There are special classes on Saturday mornings for new students!
