It's an unique place for theater and exhibition of art in the heart of the city Kolkata. Yes, it's unique due to the extraordinary planning of the place. A person coming up the stairs will find a "Black Box" mini auditorium meant for performing closed environment intimate or audience interactive creations or a director's imagination of extremities in a dark (all walls wrapped in black) concentrated place. On the other hand, opposite to the "Black Box" is the "White Hall" where artists of various subjects can exhibit their artworks like sculpture, paintings, thematic visuals and lot more than the eye can consume. Cleanliness is the top priority of the management as from the washroom to the dressing room – everything is undoubtedly neat and well maintained.
Overall, this place is the paradise of the believers who tend to create something extraordinary in a different environment.
Air conditioning is not good with respect to number of guests. Guests are made to sit on floor which are not comfortable for aged people. The charm of enjoying a presentation is lost.
