Reviews from visitors:
Exhibited artwork (Jan 2020) was scattered around the compound and I find it confusing to navigate as there were little information in English. Only spent half an hour here. However, I'm grateful for the free entry and it's school ambience all while experiencing the architecture-interior of the building.
I walked pass this place when I was on my way to “Remains of Honnoji Temple” so though of checking it out.
It’s more or less empty and not much to see.
Good it is reusing the old school. If you have time, you can visit. It will take less than 15 mknutes to look around and the cade inside is also great
Near by Shijo & Karasuma train station, an old public elementary school building renovated to gallaries, studios and library.
Showa's period remainds good old building. They have a nice small restaurant on the ground floor of North wing.
Went near closing time alone.
10/10 will experience being in a Japanese horror movie again.
