One of the most incredible and holy places on the island. A must visit regardless if you are religious or not. If you are Christian, then you just have to visit. It has been verified by all the various Christian churches that it does indeed house relics of Jesus Christs' friend Lazarus who was risen from the dead.

In 890 year people who lived in Larnaca find tomb of one of the greatest christian saints St. Lazarus ! On this place they build church and still in our days tourists and pilgrims can visit this saint place and pray! Relics of St. Lazarus still under the altar! This is one of the oldest Byzantium churches in all Cyprus Definitely must visit place!
Very beautiful place, its interior is amazing! Remember to find information about its history because that will make your visit even better. We didn't pay for entering, there were some clothes outside to borrow and cover our knees and arms.
