Nice museum. There are both canvases by renowned painters and works less known to the general public, all in a pleasant setting. The quality to price ratio is excellent. The shop is also worth a visit.
A nice little museum mainly housing collections of modern art. In the good surprises, I would quote the Marine room, dedicated to the city, its seafaring trades. There are graphic works by local artists, very beautiful, and excellent models of the boats. Also, there is an attic room under the roof frame - it is exceptional!

I appreciate that Les Sables d'Olonne is a museum and I get there quite easily, I am very interested in art in general.
It's a nice cultural moment that we do every year. What is on display changes quite well from year to year so we are not bored.
