Reviews from visitors:
Head here if you're in Liverpool for an afternoon of contemporary art. It's close by to other places of interest, such as the Liverpool Museum. The area itself is great to wander around too. Definitely worth a visit.

Love this Tate!
Perfect size. I find the London Tates so big but this is a nicer smaller focused collection. Beautiful location too. Friendly staff and great social distancing measures in place. Pre-book tickets required.
There were some amazing Miro and Dali pieces when I was here
We visited during the 2020 Coronavirus crisis and found the whole experience very enjoyable. We booked a timed slot online, were admitted in time and had plenty of space to enjoy the exhibits.
From a visitor's standpoint of view, our visit was more enjoyable than it would have been in normal times except for the face covering and foggy glasses.
The gallery has an interesting selection of pictures, installations and sculptures. Unfortunately, due to covid, some of the interactive installations were not in operation. We enjoyed wandering through the gallery and thought there was something of interest for all ages. The shop is well worth a visit and we went away with an excellent book of the paintings of Salvador Dali. Tickets currently need to be booked beforehand.
