Reviews from visitors:
A good climb through the stairs. Though it's a bit exhausting, but totally worth it. Best time would be evening, so you that you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. There is a temple and also a few caves to check out. Lots of shops on the way up so no need to carry water or food as you will get it plenty.
Maa Ekvira and Karla Buddhist Caves are at one spot so visitors do not confuse. Temples is beautiful and too crowded all the time. With government and local support, the crowd can be managed easily. People are helpful
Place is really peaceful. You will really enjoy the scenery from up. The trek gets little difficult in second half so if there are old people with you make a second thought about taking them to trekking! Lot of hotel are available but i will recommend to eat on highway dhabas!
I must say not much maintained especially parking management is disastrous. My wife & me both had been saved by others while climbing & going down from slip & falling down. The main disaster was both time we were holding our 10 month baby girl one by one so our baby girl was lucky two times despite my wife's one leg fully twisted & almost baby girl touched to the ground. Imagine stairs are not safe at all for kids and old age ones!
Didn't visit inside the temple because of the heavy rush.
But a good place to visit both for trekkers and devotees. A steep slope but stairs are there.
However, pregnant ladies, heart patients and orthopaedic patients should take care as the climb is high and at one place is difficult.
