This gallery had so many beautiful pieces of art.
I went there whilst on a school trip with students and a couple of teachers.
Though the students were there to see the pieces of art and reference them in their sketchbook(s), it was amazing to see beautiful political pieces of work
Lovely Gallery, friendly staff some nice Obey prints for sale. Bought an Obey print "Raise the Level", and the new D-Face The Monograph signed, very happy with my purchases
Always worth a visit.
Avoid buying anything on their website! I place an order of a print that was never delivered (they do charge £12.5 for shipping). They asked me to wait a few more days, I had to chase them as they were not interested to know where my parcel was. When I ask them to give me a tracking number to see where the parcel was, they wound not have one to provide. 2 weeks later nothing, or even an email, never an apology. Today after over a month I had to contact them again but still no print!
Please do yourself a favour and do not order from then as you will never send your print!
I live 2 miles from the gallery so I wouldn’t have expect this kind of problems to be honest.
Lesson learned
Gallery does little to enhance the display of art in terms of providing a narrative or context for the artist or the pieces exhibited
