Really glad I found and did this tour and discovered amazing murals and street art! The whole neighborhood is full of murals and the tour only gives time to see a fraction of them so the tour serves as a great introduction. Really enjoyed the tour, however the guide seemed a bit stressed and didn't provide a proper introduction to the space and the tour itself, giving rise to strange/unnecessary questions from participants... There could also have been more focus and commentary on graffiti rather than just focusing on muralists. Nonetheless, I warmly recommend this tour for its high value for money, an expert guide, and world class art work!

This was my first time doing graffiti, or street art, or whatever you wanna call it when you take a spray can to a wall. I couldn't imagine a better place. It's right on the beach. You've got "permission." If you made something ugly someone else will cover it up (usually by the next day). It's the perfect place to give it a shot and practice! Watch out in the sand for MOOP though!

It is so hard to find a parking . The paid parking spot is between $2-11 dollars in variety. And I love downtown area, but please have a parking spot for the gig worker.

I love street art. That being said, I am just fascinated by the stuff that comes out of the minds of these artist! It inspires me to create and get out there, to spread the message on streets and walls!
Shepard Fairey's collection of works in this show was very politically charged and with it came a view on societal norms. The large murals used during the women's march was beautiful and inspiring. There was interactive pieces along with sculptures throughout the exhibit.
At the end of the show, you'll find a little room titled consume, where you can purchase some of Fairey's prints. BUT! If you don't feel like becoming another consumer drone, you can pick up complimentary prints on your way out! They also have free stickers so that you too can become a street vandal and spread Andre the Giants face on all the street corners!
Don't forget to read the free newspaper~

Visually appealing poster art pieces with deep societal and political references. I went to see the artworks by Shepard Fairey. He is a poster artists and their overall message is to not be suppressed by the government.

Magical --just magical. We all feel it. Brides take photos there. Children. Oldies. A must-see L.A. feature, utterly brilliant in its conception and just so...simple. Somehow, it seems to symbolize our whole city!

Amazing simple gallery with theater performances. Wine and beer given, tip well. New age, modern art pieces. Located in DTLA Arts District below Little Tokyo.
Spacious. Free admission. Staff are friendly.
Art pieces ranging from $300-$3k.
Theater area has schedule performances from media video to acoustic.
We came on a Saturday night, missed the show because we came late. It was perfect because we had the whole walk to ourselves.
