Reviews from visitors:
Sadly, today wasn't the best experience photography wise in LA. An officious security guard told me I was on private property whilst photographing "Four Arches" by Alexander Calder in the plaza opposite the Bank of America building. He asked me to leave their property immediately. I did think it odd that this so called piece of "private property" would have, not just a piece of public art in it, but also an ATM machine built within the building for the public to use.
The security guy was not polite at all. He told me there were signs everywhere stating it was private property......and there weren't. He then changed his story to saying that a demarked line in the pavement indicated it was private property. So the homeless can sleep on their private property. Kids can skateboard on their private property, but apparently you can't photograph "public art" there.
very cool. how about changing up the color?
