Reviews from visitors:
With the star of the exhibit stolen in May 2017 and the rest hastily covered up by a lackluster exhibition on graffiti, the museum is no longer worth the visit. For an institution backed by both the French government and Catholic Church, one has to wonder at the level of incompetence needed for the loss of priceless relics. Their website still proudly mentions the collection, that said- even the tourist office will still reccomend it. The only way to find out the Fourvière treasure has in fact been stolen is to go there in person and be met with faintly apologetic blithering. One positive note- the entrance fee has been waived out of embarassement.
Very beautiful museum, now under renovation, that's why a street art exhibition is held. Here's some photos
