Don’t bother going here. It was probably a significant historical place in the past but now it is just an archway with an alley and a few shops/cafes. There is no indication of its past as a part of Lyon’s silk industry. It is also not covered other than the small archway.
Originally place for silk merchandise, this place is now one of the hidden traboules in Lion. The history of this place is much more fascinating than its appearance today. Nowadays, it’s a isolated street with few shops and cafe.

Too many steps!
It is necessary to pass Thiaffait passage when one strolls in the Croix-Rousse. It is even one of the possible starting points to climb the slopes
