What a great museum in Manila. Both my husband and I loved the 90 minutes we walked around this beautiful contemporary spot. The service was also very accommodating. I was not able to bring in my small shoulder bag for security reasons but I noticed women were allowed to carry in their purses that were actually bigger. Men, leave anything like a backpack at home or hotel. I felt completely welcomed here and safe.
When I visited back in October, the entrance was free. The building is quite huge, with multiple levels and colorful spaces, along with different themes and eras.
Might take a couple of hours to go around.
A great place for art enthusiasts.
Some good art. Even more good food. Come later in the day as it can be very hot and crowded earlier on. Don't expect bargains (FB Marketplace and private commissions still the way to go for these). Basically, bring a camera, an appetite, and an umbrella.
Park a few minutes walk away instead of trying to find a close-by parking slot. Another reason to come later in the day so the walk isn't as hot.
