Beautifully designed building very contemporary modern African art with an outdoor garden and cafe. some people say it's difficult to find but once you cross the river turn right immediately into the private golf resort and tell them you were looking for the museum.

My parents and I visited this museum early December, after reading so many positive reviews about it.
To be honest, considering how far it is from the rest and how high the price it is compared to other (more interesting) museums, we thought it was not worth our time, it is nothing special really.
Al Maaden Sculptures Park was just "a stone's throw away", so we decided to give it a go. Truth is it took us over 20 mins walking to get there, along a very not interesting road.
What saved the day was the caddy tour, a new and very nice experience. It allows you to quickly go around a very wide field to see the sculptures.
Getting away from them was a bit of an issue.
We went to the golf resort reception and asked the girl to book a taxi for us. She was visibly annoyed and not so kind. We were told to wait for the taxi at the round about just outside the resort, she said the taxi would have got there in 10 minutes.
Even if we were aware of the so called 10 "Moroccan" minutes, 40 minutes went by and no taxi was on sight.
We were told by the receptionist the taxi driver might have served other people on the way there, so she was going to call another taxi.
We had to wait 30 more minutes.
LONG STORY SHORT, don't waste your time, there are far more interesting things to do in Marrakech than visiting this museum, which is in the middle of nowhere
Would absolutely recommend! Amazing place for art lovers!
