If you love art, this is a must visit. You can spend hours and hours, probably a whole day learning about different artists and appreciating their works. I've always enjoyed my experience. There's a nice garden area, a cafeteria and a design store. Keep an eye out for special events like Triennial Extra which have live performances too - highly recommended!
It helped me with my art topic last year
Terrific wonderful gallery showcasting hundreds of prestigious artists' outstanding works! Its a place you won't want to miss out! So much "wow" factors you just feeling amazing and uplifting! A gallery for all ages! Oh, their cafeteria and high tea are very classy too! I'm so proud of Victoria having such world-class quality gallery and its free for all to enjoy! Please take some food or tea or drinks there just to give some support ❤❤
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here, was a great way to while a way a few hours taking in a vast range of artistic culture. Can never go past the classics, awesome to see a couple of Turners works.
Very well set out and never felt rushed, loved the over sized apartment living.
Highly recommended....and it’s free!
The triennial exhibition is a mind blowing three levels of installation, contemporary and existing exhibitions combining textures, sculpture, light and tech features, animations and cinematography. Truly gorgeous for kids and elderly alike. Spent 3 hrs there and time vanished! Great for sparking beginner art curiosity! Continuing until April 2021.
