Flinders Lane Gallery is quite a safe option when you are in the mood of looking for some great paintings and sculptures. Most shows I have seen there are established artists at a very high quality. They also have an annual emerging artists show around June/July.

Great little commercial gallery that also supports up and coming artists that have not yet secured representation.
