This is a a great historic district. I stayed the night here at a hotel and was satisfied with my experience. This historic district has many Art Deco hotels, all of which look very nice. There’s a large park between the beach and Ocean Dr, which is pretty nice. There are also many restaurants and bars in this historic district, which is pretty nice. The historic district is laid out to be three streets wide and as long as South Beach. Ocean Dr, which is by the ocean, Collins Ave, which has larger hotels than Ocean Dr, and Washington Ave, which is wider and has tall condos on it, are the three streets that go through the historic district.
If you like a getaway long vacation to erase your mind of any world drama, walk down this famous Art Deco District.
Awesome restaurants, bars but most of all good music making it very hard to choose were to go or even stay!
Very nice location with the beachfront and restaurants on the beachside. This time around, it was neat that they closed the street that the restaurants are on so they could stretch the restaurants out onto the road and make more room for people to come and also to have the tables spread out just to help out with the covid. It's changed since the last time we were here. Last time, it was too crowded and you couldn't find parking to be able to go to the beach. It was hectic, but they sure improved this time around.
Beautiful place to visit. Giving 4 stars because interactive exhibits are no longer available due to Covid. Otherwise, exceptional learning opportunity for any age!
Ocean Ave is blocked off to traffic so the restaurants can expand their patio seating. Honestly it’s pretty nice to not have to worry about cars everywhere. Beautiful to look at all the architecture. Wonderful beachfront park.
