Reviews from visitors:
This is a nice area with lots of beautiful Art Deco architecture. I went here and was immensely satisfied with my experience. This district has lots of bars, restaurants, hotels, a large beach, and a grassy park next tot he beach. The district is laid out to be three streets wide and as long as the entire South Beach. Ocean Dr is the street located next to the ocean, Collins Ave has larger hotels than those on Ocean Dr, and Washington Ave is wider and has tall condos. There’s also an Art Deco museum in the district, which is pretty good. Every Art Deco building here also looks very good.
Crowded, but cool place to walk around. Love that the whole street is pedestrian only. TONS of restaurants with street side patios to sit and eat or get a drink and people watch. Well maintained parks.
One of its kind architecture. It's a blend of Cuban and American architecture. Feels like we're in the GTA Vice City game. The lights, palm trees, beach on the other side gives a totally different feeling like nowhere else in the world.
Best place ever
Interesting street to walk around. Definitely try to avoid spring break or you will be surrounded by colleague kids. Also, it would be helpful to learn a bit more about art deco the style before hitting the street, so you can appreciate the design of the buildings
