Reviews from visitors:
We had some great experiences with Antonella and Gianni a few weeks ago. From walking tours and boat trips to a cycle tour and olive oil/wine tasting. We even tried a cooking class to make some of the region's local specialities! Their apartments, souvenir shop and bike hire building are all really close to each other right in the centre of the Monopoli Old Town, which we found to be a delightful little place.
We love this place. We have been coming to Monopoli now for seven years and they were the first to actually help us enjoy Monopoli to its fullest.
I highly recommend their tours on bikes. It's a magical way to see the stunning countryside and the churchs in caves.
The cooker classes they offer are also spectacular. The price includes dinner (which you make). We had an amazing time.
If you are looking for typical products this is the place to go.
They also ship overseas with is handy for the luggage allowance home.
This was such a beautiful place to visit!!!
We took the amazing tour to Alberobello, Antonella was a great guide, we higly reccomend this company. Well organised trip, with a fantastic driver. At the end we tasted the local products in the shop - best souvenirs in town, from local companies on valuable price. Must visit them :)
Wonderful, wonderful Monopoli
We have just had our second holiday in Monopoli in 3 or 4 years and they have been two of the best holidays we have had in years. It is a blissful place, with warmth, blue skies, history, the sea, the churches, the walled town - and food everywhere the like of which you rarely find so consistently elsewhere.
On both our trips we have taken a cycle ride among the olive groves to visit fortified farms and the underground churches with their thousand-year old (or almost, anyway) frescos. No one else knows where these are and it's a privilege to be able to see them with Antonella, who exudes knowledge and love of her subject, the history and archaeology of Puglia. It really does enhance the quality of a holiday, to be able to see under the surface (literally and metaphorically!) like this. We learned and enjoyed it so much, that we'll even do it again, when we inevitably come back to Monopoli for a third visit.
Thank you, Antonella, for a memorable and happy trip
