I purchased some beautiful art from there last year when I was in Montreal the owner personally waited on us and he did an excellent job he’s very knowledgeable of all the artists that he carries
Everyone was respectful also don't think every piece of art is actually nice but I guess that is for you to decide, the history of each artist is nice.
A very nice gallery that has different type of media art and furniture. As you walk in you are greeted warmly. I really liked the golden light on the ceiling as well as the leather chair . The place is nice and clean. Not wheelchair accessible.
Art from a different point of view and perspective! Large even too large premises. Take your time no one is rushing you. A nice extra addition on saint denis artistic side. The welcoming door is small and an inviting sign or tablet will help. Vernissage should be announced so visits could be more frequent! Coffee on the house. Voila!
We bought some super cool art here. They have an awesome selection of different/funky/street art type pieces. Great customer service, they helped suggest and explain pieces without pushing you to buy everything. Can’t wait to be back and buy more!
From contemporary painting and photography to drawings and live performances, plus some halls for various activities such as yoga, this gallery has it all. Plus they're open till late evening. So, 5 star!
A great place to visit to view multiple galleries in one building. I always start at the 5th floor and work my way down. If you are looking to pack a day full of art viewing, I tend to visit the MAC then here.
I randomly found this gallery while walking through Old Montreal a few years ago and the second I walked in I knew it was a special place. First of all the employees there are incredibly nice! Despite the fact that it’s a very beautiful and fancy gallery, you never feel like you’re not wanted there. It’s a very down to earth gallery with arguably the best art in the city, including some fantastic Montreal street artists!! Not only do I visit as much as I can but I have also bought art from there and Alexandra was very helpful and shared my excitement and honestly she made my experience at this gallery that much better! So any time you’re walking around the old port, I really suggest you find some time to check out this gallery!
Love this gallery! Always a highlight of my strolling in old town Montreal. Bought the augmented reality Rubrics cube piece you can see in a few photos. They always have evocative enticing pieces of modern art. Their staff is really knowledgeable, kind and friendly. I highly recommend you check out this little spot.
Such a lovely place! My Mom and I, went in here and I loved the paintings. There were a couple, I absolutely loved. My favourite was by Najib Chakchem "A shadow fell over my way." Absolutely beautiful. I hope to be back to purchase them when I can. The gentlemen in the gallery was so knowledgeable, welcoming and kind. He showed us other art work of the artist (Najib Chakchem) I loved. I will be back one day...hopefully soon.
A must in the art world in Montreal. An impressive collection of artists from here and elsewhere, which you are certainly not used to seeing. Avant-Garde in its purest form.
Amazing experience with the gallery owner,Lyne, and the wonderful artist Lyly Gagnon. We discovered Lyly’s stunning art during a trip to Quebec City and contacted Blanche Gallery to arrange for her to commission a painting for our new house. The entire process was very smooth, and both Lyne and Lyly were a pleasure to deal with. We are thrilled with our new Gagnon horse painting and would love to welcome more art from this gallery and artist into our home in the future.
An excellent experience in purchasing online from the west coast to having painting sent to a different province (AB) via courier. Julian contacted me very quickly after my online order was requested and the entire process ran smoothly with the art piece arriving a day earlier than estimated. Lorraine was also excellent in replying to my email questions and following up once art piece had been delivered. The gallery has a wide variety of styles and artists so I will be visiting online again in the future.
