Full moon drum circle tonight!
It was very nice just like I remember it 20 years ago. Every thing was very clean and staff was friendly. The shop has everything from licenses, bait, souvenirs, snacks, and drinks located at the entrance to the pier. No charge just to walkout onto the pier, but entrance into the state park has gone up to $8.00. However, they have lots of other things to do besides just the pier, but that was all i went for, it seemed a little high to me. It's the only reason that I'm not giving it 5 stars. The bathrooms even have hot water which was nice to see!
Even though cloudy today it's still calm and beautiful and nice size waves. Watching the planes coming into Myrtle Beach International Airport.
Lovely campground with beachfront within an easy walk. Well supplied camp store. Only drawback is it is at the end of the MB airport runway. Noisy, but we enjoyed watching the different planes and military craft come and go.
