highly recommend following the signs to the Maradona mural. The small area which is filled with tributes and street art of the famous footballer is incredible and on your way there you find many other amazing murals and pieces of street art
Perfect spot for a City Trip in Napoli, 10 minutes from the Central station with Train & Metro and the Alibus to get to & from the airport. It's just next to the historical centrum. Perfect for one day of walking in the city. The breakfast is perfect and the price is fair.
To visit, a magical place
Review during renovations. I dropped by to check out local modern art but it had a good chunk closed. On the bright side, it was free.
It's one direction where one room is one exhibition. Most of the information they give you is about the artist, with some info about the exhibit and what they're trying to convey. Clean museum with some interesting exhibits.
Whenever you come to Naples just notice how much Maradona is pictured all over the city and it's part of the local culture.
Not only here in the spanish quarters, but pretty much everywhere.
You walk around a little bit and it's possible to see how the Neapolitans venerate the D10s.
He's painted on the walls, sculpted as souvenirs, image stickers on restaurants, hostels...
For the Neapolitan people, he deserves an altar !!
