Reviews from visitors:
Beautiful place to explore indigenous folk art and craft styles of India. Sculpture, architecture, fabric, paintings made by folk artisans of India. There's a small handicrafts market alongside. If you're lucky, you might get a glimpse of folk music/dance/theatre!
Crafts Museum is the perfect place to spend your afternoon on a weekend. The ticket to enter is INR 20/- and you can visit all the galleries during that time. There is also a dedicated market sort of an area where you buy things. I bought a jute sling bag only for INR 250 which is relatively cheap from online jute stores. Apart from this you can also enjoy some delicious food at the cafe on the entrance. Overall it is a place where you can go to appreciate and learn about different arts from sculpture to textiles everything is there.
Museum is where time is transformed into a space. National crafts museum is a peaceful experience. Best part is it doesn't feel like a typical museum. It'll be like you're having a walk in villages of different states showcasing their artwork. There are exhibitions also of different artists or states time to time.
There's a cafe inside the museum, cafe lota.
This was really a great place❤️
Went to Cafe Lota here.
It is an epitome of simplicity and tremendous food. The serving staff is courteous and prompt with suggestions.
For anyone visiting or living in Delhi, this place is worth every penny and second spent.
