Vivan Sundaram's mixed installation titled "Install: black gold, terraoptics and the work of termites" is being exhibited here in gallery Photoink in Vasant Kunj. This is a sleepy kind of area, nothing much else is going around here, but the gallery itself is adequately equipped to hold good exhibitions. Since this was a mixed installation work, apart from photographs, there were light boxes and video installations as well. I enjoyed the space and the composition of the three parts of the exhibition. However, video display on the floor would work better if either the floor is of white or black marble (which it's not) or care is taken to dim the surrounding lights.
