Street Art mecca. Blocks and blocks of murals, tags, pasteups, stickers and colorful nods to people, places, things and animals.
They haven't refreshed much in time of covid but hopefully some new murals once travel is easier in 2021.
If you’re in New York and you love street art this is a must! Bushwick is pretty sweet too with cafes and bars everywhere, if I’m in NYC again I’d definitely come back here!
I see these pieces of art everyday. They are a marvel to see. The only problem is how many people write on them. It destroys them. Just keep looking around the state and yu will find amazing ones. PERIODT
After living in NYC for six years, I finally see the graffiti murals at The Bushwick Collective. I was more than impressed by the great art. I love street art, and I took dozens of photos of the work I witnessed.
The Bushwick Collective showcases some brilliant street art in a stripped back grungy section of Brooklyn scattered with cool bars, cafes and theatres. It’s like tripping through a wonderland of colour and ideas and each time you turn a street corner you’re not sure quite what you’ll come across next. It’s fascinating, immersive and thrilling at the same time. Put a visit to Bushwick near the top of your list of things to see in Brooklyn.
To get there you need to get off at Jefferson St Station on the L train.
