Reviews from visitors:
All the art work was at the third floor including the popular balloon dogs and the giant table/chairs! Took a lot of pictures and saw a lot of great/famous work! Despite the line, I thought it was worth the wait for an hour.
For having known 5POINTZ, my friend who lives in New York had his building embedded in this place. Every time I went to visit him I took pictures of all the graffiti, there were sublime ones. Then the place was destroyed. In December 2018, I went to citizenM Bowery and visited the place. All along my descent I photographed the walls of the stairwell, and I was dazzled by the beauty of the works presented. So, do not miss this visit.
I found my time at Museum of Street Art (MoSA) to be a jolt of inspired energy I needed at this point in my life and a powerful, personal reminder that creative expression is at its best, a fluid and experimental process that ultimately challenges audiences to understand - and how to understand - difficult themes and ideas.
Once arrive , there are two lines for general admission and also on-site tickets (limited tickets offered per day and wait line is long). For the online reserved general admission tickets, they are timed entrance, every half an hour. They will start let you wait in line 30 minutes before your appointment time.
A true New York experience! Located in the recently opened Citizen M Hotel, the Museum of Street Art features artists from 5 Pointz. It closes in the late afternoon so it is best to visit in the afternoon. After taking the elevator to the top floor, the exhibits are in the stairwell, each floor featuring a different artist. After walking down, take the elevator back up for a cocktail in the rooftop bar which has truly fantastic views of the City.
