It’s the most beautiful place and architecture in Macedonia by far! Unbeaten. Located in a quiet place with an outstanding view on behind. Extremely recommended to visit! Even though the building was under repairs while we visited, it was great to visit. We met a friendly guy, who I believe was a worker in the temple. And we had a good conversation with him. He told us some more context about Macedonia and their history.
Beautiful mosque in the centre of Ohrid. A must visit. It is a relatively small mosque. Men and women go through the same entrance. There is space for men and women to do their ablution and pray. We were told by locals that the mosque only opens during prayer times. Ask locals around that area if not sure. They are very approachable and will do their best to help.
Would 100% recommend booking a private boat tour with b&f boat cruise.
Our shipper showed us beautiful places on the lake. Besides that he accompanied us to st Naum and the beautiful springs. He was extremely kind, helpful and told us a lot about the area. It was a day to never forget!
It's a masterpiece! There is no word that can describe this incredible mosque! Its located in the heart of the city and you can feel the Heaven (Jannah) there. Its open all day long for prayers and tourists too and by the night it shines like the biggest star from the sky! Praised to be Allah and Thanks Allah for such an amazing creation and Salah's place!
Old facility formerly used for industrial purposes is now abandoned. Somebody had thw bright idea to paint it with ladybugs giving to it a more pleasent view. In small towns throughout Albania, painting of buildings has become a smart way of changing the appearance of old builfings, be those industrial buildings, institutions or dwellings.
Nice area to spend however short or long you want. St Naum was amazing to see and the gardens are nice to walk through. Can sit by the Lake or eat at the restaurant. There are boat tours of the springs too.
Can't miss this. If you want a great rundown of Albanian history within the last couple hundred year this is the place. Experiencing the atmosphere of the bunker was awesome.
