Nice and modern place. Wery good service
The capital city has already a new cultural attraction, the Castle of Tirana. Bars, restaurants, shops, touristic agency offices, art galleries and more other facilities to visitors offer nowadays a wide range of services and products to all visitors of all ages.
The Tirana Castle (Albanian: Kalaja e Tiranës) is a old bazar place of Tirana. Its history dates back before 1300 and is a remnant from the Byzantine-era.
The fortress is the place where the main east-west and north-south roads crossed, and formed the heart of Tirana.
The current fortification has three known towers and it is undergoing a process of restoration, for touristic purposes. Inside the fortified walls of the former fortress, there are many buildings that can be visited, including traditional cuisine restaurants, traditional house as cultural institution, souvenir shop etc.
This place is a novelty for the city of Tirana and Albania in general. The castle of Tirana is such a beautiful place where you can find both new and old architecture combined. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
