Reviews from visitors:
A definite must see for any museum enthusiast. It is a small museum packed with a trove of information. My family and I learned so much during our visit. The museum curator was very knowledgeable and friendly. Their presentation reflected their love of African American history, and made the visit even more enjoyable. The museum delves into chapters of African American history that are often systematically overlooked in many American history classes. Not to mention, the museum’s admission fee was only $5 at the time of our visit. It is an informative and affordable must see.
One of the best tours ever. Museum manager Katrece Pitts was absolutely amazing! Her knowledge of History was incredible. Far exceeded our expectations. Please go out and support this Museum. Our black history will be lost if people don't visit places like this.
Loved it! Went today on Dr.MartinLuther Kings birthday the tour guide Patrice was knowledgeable about any questions i had about the pictures and displays in the museum will definitely be visiting again !
