Reviews from visitors:
A great educational experience for the family. So many different aspects of our world can be seen in just four floors of this place. Even as an adult, I still learn new things. The play area is great for kids of all ages and there is even a small water play area. Every few months, the OSC has a new exhibit with great history and/or science behind it. If you are just visiting Orlando, or even if you live here, the Orlando Science Center is a great regular experience!
Children and adults will love learning interesting things about outer space and looking through one of the world’s most powerful telescopes. There is also a theater and program where kids can learn about what exists beyond our planet in a hands-on way.
Look through the telescope, watch an entertaining and informative show at one of the three theaters, play with magnets, and dig for dinosaur fossils. There are events happening throughout the month that are tailored specifically for kids with all types of science interests.
My family and I had a great time at the Science Center. The exhibits on Stem Cells and Diabetes were very interesting. There was a live presentation about the planets in our universe and a presentation about Scanning Electron Microscopes. There is a ton to do and all the kids I observe are having a blast.
Always a pleasant experience here. We've been twice since the start of the pandemic and have seen appropriate safety precautions implemented. We look forward to the tall play structure reopening but have enjoyed the other attractions just the same. They have capacity restrictions in some areas, like the orange grove - super popular with my kids, but there's room to wait or pass time down the hall at the water table or toddler town.
Five stars if you have younger children. Fantastic place for your K-5 kid's class trip. Not so much for grownups, but also super fun. The few exhibits not specifically targeting kids were great. Several dinosaurs skeletons, and some pretty neat stuff like that.
We actually went for the Pompeii exhibition which was spectacular.
