I really enjoyed my journey at this hotel. Very nice and wide rooms, stylish, much taste and care about decoration. The bed was comfortable and even if my room was close to the street, it was quiet and relaxing. The bathroom is also modern and I appreciated to find beautiful orchids flowers in it. Finally the breakfast is delicious. Try the tasty mozzarella ❤️ I'll get back to Palermo and I definitely know which Hotel I'm gonna choose again next time !

Beautiful murals.
The author Fulvio Di Piazza was inspired by the fish of the Ballaró Market for his trumpet of fish located behind the arch of Porta Sant’Agata.

The Palace is located in a strategic position, a short distance from the Cathedral and the Norman Palace, almost protected by the houses of the surrounding neighborhood, currently much less noble than the ancient building which in this way, in my opinion, stands out even more. Entering it was an extraordinary discovery for me, welcomed and accompanied as we were by the two young descendants of the family that still lives in the building in which, among other things, some very interesting holiday apartments have been created. Going up to the first floor and immersing yourself in the history of the family that boasts such noble and prestigious ancestry as those of Frederick II of Swabia was an experience that I highly recommend (the ticket costs 10 euros, the visit lasts an hour). All the rooms and environments visited are like a museum, but alive, a collection of family, historical and artistic testimonies; however the strong point, for me, was the ancient tower on the top floor, an Arab-Norman tower of the twelfth century, placed, like the whole building that follows its trend, on a Punic wall of the city, that is dating back to the origins of its foundation. It is the Torre Busuemi or Torre di Scrigno, surprising

This is as central as it gets. Clean, spacious, air conditioned rooms. Breakfast is okish, but considering the view from the terrace where you have it; it is all excellent. Look no further, everything is around you. The staff is friendly and very flexible, allowed us to check out late and continue to use the roof terrace in the afternoon whilst we were waiting to collect our car. Thank you!

Palermo's Modern Art Gallery is hosted by the exquisite Palazzo Bonet (located next to Saint Ann church) and exhibits artworks from the 19th and 20th Century.
It's a good opportunity to admire masterpieces from various modern art currents that alternated in Italy at the beginig of 20th Century, including Futurismo, Novecento, Arte Povera and Metaphisical Art among others. There's also a hall dedicated to Sicilian Novecento, for a more local flavor. The exhibition is well organized and starts in opera style with the dramatic painting "I Vespri Siciliani" by Erulio Eroli.
The gran-finale is ensured by masterpieces signed by Guttuso, Pippo Rizzo and Sironi.
The only downside during my visit was the lighting of the gallery, which was very poor in some of the halls, ironically in the ones displaying the bright Lojocano's landscapes.
Gallery's bookstore worth a visit as well.

Locals say that it is not like it used to, but for a tourist, especially in the timetable of the meal, it is definitely worth visiting. It has become a place for street food, but it remains very suggestive. I among the various possibilities I decided to taste the legendary sandwich with the spleen of Rocky ..... yummy.

Great place to have lunch with family and to go out at night with friends! Good night life, very diversed people and you will always find food. Alcohol is ridiculously cheap. Try palermitan "sangue".

This place is fantastic all round, great coffee/music/drinks/food/atmosphere and people❤️
the breakfasts in the morning are spot on -you get a decent coffee done the way you want plus a freshly pressed orange juice + a granola/rice with yogurt and lots of fruit... or a croissant/sweet. All for very cheap!
The bar of a nighttime is really superb as well... great live music and very well curated background music also. The seating is just right -with enough room to stand around and at the bar also. The drinks are all done to a very very high standard too but no where near as pricey as some spots
The outside space is a real asset and works perfectly with the venue.
The people who run this bar are also really really wonderful!!! Its a lovely vibe and full of nice locals and tourists who know how to be good and do good. 10/10
Its cool to work out of also ;)
