A sacred place for Buddhist. It’s also a picturesque area for photo lovers with elegant view of island from different points. Also, it’s a place where breeze will calm you mentally and physically.
The Big Buddha is a remarkable piece of architecture. It truly lives up to its name of 'Big'!
There are many ways of getting there either through arranged tours or hiring a motorbike, just be careful of all the up hills!
There are things to buy to give thanks towards the temple, such as small golden hearts to write messages on.
It has free entry as well which is a bonus.
The views are stunning.
The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it is just so quick to do. Not much else, you just turn up take photos of the Big Buddha and leave.
The view from the top is really worth a lot. I would prefer not to mention the renovation, but this place seems to be liked by the Thais and they are repairing everything there that can be renovated. Despite the inability to enter inside the Buddha, it is worth spending some time to see this large monument up close. And by the way, ask about religious behavior or just look at them closely

Since its a religious place make sure you wear appropriate clothing. They also have coverings too, so don't worry to much.
This is great statue with inspiring view, but when I was there, there was a construction, a lot of tourist were walking under it and were taking photos on the big stairs, so do I. From the edge with marble fence you can see the view of all the island Phuket, it is such type of masterpiece!! Very green land with blue ocean water around. Once in your life you should see that! And it’s too hot there, don’t forget to wear a hat to cover your face from sun)) and it’s quite hard to go up this enormous stairs and I was a little bit exhausted Thank you for reading my review!
