Reviews from visitors:
A bit of a touristy feel, with not many locals out in the market. The temple setting juxtaposed with the market makes for some decent snaps. Worth a visit but don't get super excited.
It's a very nice market area in the Karon beach side. Loads of local shops selling their local products. Have to bargain quiet a bit. It's a nice place to know about the local life and explore native Thai goods rather than going to outlet malls and other established malls.
Very beautiful temple and the market is nice too. Not too big and not to crowded. Many small shops.
Take me back to Thailand. Good market. You will enjoy. You can barter but don't be a savage the locals need to make money too.
You can find some pretty good deals here and there's lots to choose from- electronics, handbags, mens and womens clothing, shoes, handmade goods, food, etc. The only knock is that the booth owners are not happy about negotiating and some of them were straight up rude about it. If you come across one like that just move on to another one because it's likely there's someone else there that has what you're looking for and would be happy to have the sell.
