I was at the atlas of tomorrow which features work from I CHING . This feature is an interactive mural where you are challenged to think of a question , invited to turn the dial , peruse the corresponding story that matches with the number in order to divinely obtain an answer. this is a strangely Intriguing machine. why not take a look?
Not only have I had the pleasure to host and attend events, perform and enjoy performances, support just causes and spend a night viewing beautiful art; I've been able to enjoy all of these moments right in my community. Urban Art Gallery has community programs like Art (painting), martial arts classes & is open to the West Philadelphia and surrounding community.
The establishment has two levels with bathrooms on both floors, is very clean with a great audio system. Rates for renting the space are some of the beat in the city

Nice variety of work on view. Too bad they are not open when people are walking around...like after work, on their way to dinner, or going to the theater. They lose a ton of foot traffic.
I brought my wife here and we had the best time. I’d never thought I would get into art at this point in my life but I did! The people working here are very knowledgeable and very kind. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Love me some Art Star! Great local business involved in the community, wonderful powerful women owners! Has great and unique merchandise from local and national artists and host lovely gallery exhibits. Art Star Craft Bazaar at Penn's Landing in the Spring has become a family tradition. You should check it out! You're guaranteed to find something awesome.
The Philadelphia Museum of Art is famous for more than its abundant artwork inside; it is also famous for its famed entry staircase which was featured in the Rocky movie series. This historic building is about an hour from my hometown and it is a frequent place to visit when in the city of Philadelphia. As shown in the pictures, there are many stairs and steps both inside and outside of the building, however there are ramps outside and elevators inside to allow for greater accessibility to the attractions. The museum has very wide walkways inside and outside the building (where there is a beautiful garden and view) even before the pandemic which allows for greater space to maneuver. Additionally, the last time that I went to the museum, I recall that there was an option to either download an app on your phone or to get a headset from the front desk that would audibly describe the paintings and sculptures along with read aloud the small blurbs of background information provided next to the art pieces. Overall, this is an accessible and fun location to relax and enjoy art for anyone and everyone.
Crazy contemporary exhibits. Wasn't really sure how to classify the exhibits with respect to genres of art. The personal platform that was held on sit was great. Duchess had a real cool vibe in bringing people together and performing. Thank you for a great experience.
I strongly recommend Old City Art & Framing for both purchasing art and framing. There are wonderful pieces of art in the store, and they also do frames for numerous pieces of art both from the store, and elsewhere. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The framing quality and service are of the highest standards. I would not consider framing anywhere else.
