Local contemporary art at its finest in this Phoenix warehouse district gallery. Rotating collections of sculptures and painting are showcased in this great industrial building. Staff is friendly and laid back.
Great place to shop! Love love love the key chains and the toys all around. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE & GREAT STAFF! I loved the shop when it was kid robot and still do!
"Thank you for coming, but thank you for leaving." Who says that? The curator? Some old lady with 'artsy' glasses? I'm never coming back to this gallery again. Decent art but mediocre people.
One word sums up my experience with the gallery -- horrible! I consigned a work to them for 6 months for a potential sale. I never received feedback on how much interest my work garnered without hounding the gallery for it and after my consignment period ended, I was shipped the wrong painting. Don't think the owner or gallery considers "customer service" anything more than making a buck no matter how much experience and expert "advice" and clients they claim to have.
When I'm in the area (I live in NJ), this is a "must see." I don't go to the galleries in NY much partly because I feel out-of-place, like I don't belong there. The vibe at Bentley Projects (and Bentley Gallery) is inviting and real. They seem to actually want me to be there. It's like a NY gallery was picked up and put in the Valley of the Sun, but with nice people working there.
