Roy Petley is a very well known Artist and owner in his 'art'field. The gallery is very sophisticated in its art just loved the warm feeling on entering with there beautiful Newfoundland. Friends bought a beautifull painting and it was shipped to Holland with 3 days and very well received.
Skip buying the junk hats along the seafront and get a real Panama hat for a very nice price here. Nice selection of shirts as well. Favourite shop in Puerto Pollenca.
A magnificent structure which should not be judged by the mild exterior.
If you happen to be in the area and you get the opportunity to step inside the Santa Maria church, I'd highly recommend it.
The entry is free and people of all religions and beliefs are welcome inside so long as they have respect and try not to disturb those who are there for worship.
From the moment you step inside your breath is taken away by the array of colour and the sheer magnitude of this great structure. The cavernous roof is made larger by the paintings as well as the natural stonework.
Upon inspection you will notice the various alcoves dotted to the left and the right of this church, each housing some moment in the religion portrayed through artistic pictures and statues.
If you happen to visit during a ceremony, it can be quite spiritual to hear the soft echoes of the chanter fill the room where so many voices will have been before throughout the many years.
Head inside and I'm sure you won't be dissapointed.
Fantastic renting experience. Organized a rental of 4 e-bikes with baby trailer, and an additional road bike in person. Everything went super smooth and they delivered and picked up from our villa without any problems or issues. Best day of our holiday on a licence free hire of a boat with canopy on a scorching hot day. The boat was very easy to use and a map they supplied clearly indicated the boundary we could sail up to.
We hired for half day and anchored up for a while to have a swim. Family fun, in a safe and reliable boat. It didn't cost an arm and a leg and we sailed up to dinner at the end of the hire. So cool. Staff were incredibly helpful and responded quickly to an enquiry I had post hire.
Amazing prices for everything you need. The bicycles are well maintained and the staff will be sure to fairer your needs. The prices are friendly and I definitely recommend it if you need anything.
We did the sea kayaking and Blue Cave trip. Miguel led the trip and was excellent - well informed, friendly and helpful. The trip was superb as well as we saw a very different angle on this stunning island. Than you!
This place is amazing! The accommodation is basic, as you would expect from a monastery but the atmosphere is unbeatable. Fantastic views and great, really affordable food. Best of all, it was really peaceful even at the height of summer, probably partly because you have to walk all the way up there! A true refuge. If you like peace and quiet and are looking for something simple but also unique, you cannot beat it.
