We always stop in when visiting Port A and we've bought some neat art here in the past. This time we bought Deb some interesting glass earrings from a local artist. Nice, helpful folks.
We love this place! You can bring in your own drinks and snacks. You can pick from a huge collection of ceramics at different price ranges and paint away. Items take usually 24 hours to fire up so plan accordingly if you are visiting from out of town. Owner is super nice and the customer service is great.
Whenever we had visitors from the frozen north we would make sure that we included a trip to A Mano and their wonderful selection of hand made imported goods. What a loss to the area. I cringed today when I pulled up and saw it had been replaced by yet another store selling plastic furniture.
its been a very interesting stay here in Port A the last week and a half. locals are friendly and helpful...weather has been nice...Beta made its appearance and swirled slowly off to the north ... ocean was angry and had some crazy waves.

Coming from out of town of course, this place was really nice. The staff was very welcoming and the greeted us with happy smiles.
Although we didn't buy nothing from them, it was mostly home decor and things for you bathroom. They also have some jewelry to see as well.
Definitely take a look at this shop if you're in the Port Aransas area.
Again the customer service here was great.
So far we have gotten two fairly large tattoos done by Bobby and they are both absolutely amazing! He's very quick to respond to his customers about quotes and times. Got us in quickly and made us feel like we were with someone we'd known for years! So comfortable with him at his shop! This is absolutely the best place to go!
I come to Port A every year with my family and just today did we find this place! So nice and the sounds are beautiful. Also, the alligator I saw was huuuuuuuuge!
Had a blast here last night with friends. Loved the dance floor and the dance-on-bar. The bartenders are very friendly and make great drinks, especially the shots. Was a little upset that everything was served in plastic cups but after watching a girl on the dance floor drop her drink and people dancing barefoot around her, I understand the reasons behind it. We just ordered drinks in Treasure Island and brought them over. I don’t like plastic cups (mainly for trash reasons) but also because the drinks get warm too quickly. Had an issue with a drunk but the owner Tommy quickly removed him. Can’t wait to go back again.
This church has always been so welcoming whenever we visit from out of town. There is always coffee in the kitchen and a few minutes to meet new friends . I appreciate the message which is focused on the bible and discipleship.
