Reviews from visitors:
We came for the Dior exhibition. I bought tickets online because they were timed. Upon arrival we paid $15 to park in garage. Neat experience overall. Everyone was nice and pointed us in the right direction. As you walk in there's a cafe and store. I like the entrance design as they have some seating to wait and it's a drive up to pickup or drop off.
My boyfriend and I LOVED this museum. We stopped by on a whim while we were passing through Dallas. It's located in the Art District and is surrounded by other museums, so there is no shortage of things to do in the area. We were prepared to pay admission, but once we entered the museum, we found that there was no fee! There was so much to see inside. There were exhibits for pretty much every culture and country you can think of. They had exhibits for Egypt (where they have an actual mummy), Buddhist and Hindu art, African art, colonial America, classical art, Greek, Roman, French, Italian, Spanish, Japan, China, everything! The contemporary art section was particularly interesting, as there was a piece that shared my name (Bethany) that I've attached a picture of. There was also a sculpture garden that we didn't have time to get to. The facilities were clean and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely return when we have more time to devote to this great place.
Great place to get some good museum experience. The best part is that it's free. Masks are still necessary. There are a a few exhibits that require a fee but the rest of them are free. The African art exhibit is great along with the American art. The architecture is noteworthy and the courtyards are exceptional as well.
Excellent museum. So many things to see for free. Plus the one paid exhibit was really cool and not too expensive. This was my third time visiting and it hasn’t gotten boring yet.
I've been here a couple of times. It's a great place to visit. It will take you a while to get through it. I recommend at least a couple of days just to see every thing, they have out on display.
