Reviews from visitors:
The building was beautiful, the entrance was free. The exhibition was interesting, but small. The stuff spoke English and talked about the art.
I see a lot of comments on how unsafe the neighborhood is - I disagree. I felt completely safe walking alone there during the day.
It is a cool place and the fair was fine. I think it should have more events like more often. It is a good option to visit
Loved this place. One of our favorite museums in Quito. Definitely take your them and read about the work as you go if you can.
Definitely worth a stop in Quito, but Uber here because the neighborhood isn’t great. The building is gorgeous, a beautifully rehabbed space that’s worth visiting for that alone. Heads up that most of the explanations are in Spanish, but the staff speaks English and can help explain each exhibit (and some pamphlets are bilingual). They have lockers to hold your things to which is nice!
A hidden jewel in Quito... Do you like ghosts? There are a lot of stories and experiences of the museum staff and visitors... Spooky :)
