Reviews from visitors:
A museum that tells the story of the Laima company, on of the oldest chocolate factory of Latvia. The museum itself is small, there is only 3 rooms with explanations on how the chocolate is created etc. I was expecting to see the factory... anyway you can learn some things actually and even try pure chocolate from a chocolate fontaine.
It was fun to spend some sweet quality time at the museum and learn about chocolate and history of sweets in Riga. I wish, I could have tried the old times zefirs, which were made mainly out of apple puree (not the ones nowadays are made).
Great place to visit with family for couple of hours. We also took master class for chocolate making and it was nice and very interesting especially for my 4 year old kid. After we walk through museum, tasted chocolate from chocolate fountain and take some funny photos and videos in action corner.
Very friendly guides. A cute experience and included some hot chocolate, very tasty and complimentary chocolates. Great to understand about the landmark clock in the city center and it's relevance.
Interesting 2 hours in chocolate world. It is recommended to take guided tour with masterclass.
