1 Malo Métiers d'arts
images
It would be good to argue when leaving a negative rating.
I am very satisfied with this association, which tries to defend and highlight to the public the talent of craftsmen.
The lounges are accessible in terms of price (compared to those in Paris), the team is very motivated and available. It is quite rare to find staff (even volunteers) also investing in a show.
I hope that the city of Saint Malo will support this event more.
6 Bastion St. Philip

images
The bastion of Saint-Philippe dates back to 1714, the time of the 2nd expansion of the city. It was named in honor of Philippe II d'Orléans, Regent of France. It bordered a district of rich shipowners' houses in the 18th century. On the corner of the bastion, in front of the Môle des Noires, there is a beautiful watchtower crowned by a fleur-de-lis.
From here there are beautiful views of the city of Aleth and the Bas Sablons.
7 Chapelle Saint Sauveur

A beautiful church nicely converted into an art gallery and cultural space. A must visit in Saint-Malo.

10 Saint-Malo Cathedral

images
The cathedral was built during the episcopate of Jean de Châtillon (1146-1163) on the site of an ancient church founded in the 7th century. It is dedicated to Saint Vincent of Saragossa. The cathedral is a mixture of Romanesque and Gothic styles and is protected as a "historical monument".

Large choice of books in all kinds of category, material for handcrafting and diy. Great shop!
15 ART AU BAR

images
Super place, super friendly. The gallery-bar concept is very interesting with beautiful street art works. The owner struggles a lot to organize cultural events regularly.
16 Galerie FLH

images
Beautiful works of art! Everything is beautiful: paintings, sculptures and furniture, it makes you want to redo its interior. What's cool, too, is to chat with the artists. I adore.
17 Manoli Museum and Sculpture Garden

images
A little gem. Several rooms and a garden full of graceful pieces. I found the sculptures in the garden particularly enchanting. The charming staff spoke English, an unexpected bonus. Two other artists, chosen to complement Manoli's work, had exhibits. This worked really well. A free audio tour was available in English. Highly recommended.
I try to keep this list very up to date. It was last edited in December 2024. You can help me make this page better, for example by letting me know of a street art that should be on the list. Click here to get in touch. Thanks!
