Reviews from visitors:
The bastion of Saint-Philippe dates back to 1714, the time of the 2nd expansion of the city. It was named in honor of Philippe II d'Orléans, Regent of France. It bordered a district of rich shipowners' houses in the 18th century. On the corner of the bastion, in front of the Môle des Noires, there is a beautiful watchtower crowned by a fleur-de-lis.
From here there are beautiful views of the city of Aleth and the Bas Sablons.
This bstion allows you to take pictures of the lighthouse and the beach via its loopholes.
A wonderful, suggestive and characteristic place. Seaside resort of some historical significance to visit but also characterized by modern shops of all kinds ... beautiful cathedral to visit and I recommend you stop to eat in some bistro character stone because it deserves. Even the pastry shops with typical sweets. Go around the walls to see the whole bay ..
A beautiful point of view.
When there is a little wind but also sun, it's just beautiful
