I feel so fortunate to have been given the Sculpt- A- Heart Workshop as a Christmas gift! In 30 mins I became an artisan with glass, red sprinkles and lots of heat to make a beautiful glass RED Heart just in time for Valentine's Day. The demo was very informative for sure. However, there were very poor standards ifollowed for social distancing. Signs were on the bleacher seats but no "count".on the attendees.There were at least 12 too many people allowed in who did not follow the posted signage, thus full bleachers without social distancing between rows. If the facility would limit the number of people per demo, I believe this would take care of that. Excellent program otherwise.
Wonderful place, and great glass blowing lectures. I learned quite a lot about how glass artwork is made. For one thing, in a glass art shop, they never turn off the glass melting furnaces; the furnaces are on all 8,766 hours a year. Which is weird because one would think that if you turn the furnaces off, the molten glass would just solidify, only to melt and turn liquid again in maybe an hour, 2 at most, when the furnaces are turned back on. But their demonstrations are fun to watch.

Took a beginner one-on-one class with artist Tim Soluna on Oct. 25, and it was the most fun I ever had creating art! Tim is an excellent instructor and explained each step along the way. I created a beautiful pumpkin that I love. Wow, what an awesome experience, and a medium like no other. I want to go back and make that wave now :)
