Hopscotch was awesome!! Had so many people recommend for me to visit so I gave it a go. I enjoyed art exhibits, they were one of a kind! Staff is wonderful. We met this worker named Gage and he was extremely friendly and helped explain how the check-in process worked. I am excited to come back to see new exhibits and will definitely be recommending!
Such a wonderful place to treat yourself to a great time. The atmosphere is very uplifting, from enjoying a drink in the unique lounge, having some delicious food from the food truck or listening and dancing to some terrific music out on the patio. Downstairs you’ll find the most intriguing interactive art exhibits that will keep you busy having even more fun. We had such a fantastic time! Definitely recommend you check out Hopscotch for a fun time.
What a fun place to go to! Vibes and installations were on point! Go down the rabbit hole and you will find so much to see and explore but don’t forget your drinks first at the lounge! Staff was very attentive and nice! We had such a great time! Ended the experience outside where they had a food truck available.
I was honestly a little disappointed In how small it was. We made a last minute decision to have a date night here, and I wish we would’ve made more plans for downtown. Truth is, we didn’t know how small it was or how long we would be there. So we were there for like 45 minutes. For the whole exhibit.
I felt like we spent a lot for spending so little time there.
Plus it was crowded and people were lining up at the second(?) to last room. No social distancing. It made us uncomfortable so we skipped that one and didn’t really get to enjoy hopscotch as a whole.
The drinks at the bar were good. A little strong at first, but after awhile you couldn’t even taste the liquor. And I was feeling good after one drink. Even my boyfriend thought they were strong, be both agreed (we got different drinks) that they were good.
And it was a cool experience.
My suggestion would be if you are making plans to go, make other plans as well. Plan for some food downtown and go for a walk.
The parking at the Travis(?) parking garage is more than $6 if you’re there for over an hour.
And if you’re at hopscotch for less than 3 hours, they will validate your parking and bring it down to $4. So that might be something to consider if you’re worried about pricing. But If not, definitely make other plans around there as well so it won’t feel like such a short evening.
It was so much fun and i loved understanding the artists intention in their work. It was interesting and kept getting better with every room. The staff were very informative about everything and interacted with you sweetly. I wish I knew there names so i can thank them for making it more enjoyable. I would highly recommend!
