Great place to visit. Free guided tours .every hours
Good! It is recommended to book the tour before you go. However we did not book because our plan is not confirm.
We tried our luck on Sunday and reached at 2.30pm. Luckily we managed to join the 3pm tour and we followed a group of Malaysian with their tour guide (around 30mins tour).
Almost 20 mins of free beer. You have to finish drinking the 1st cup(Asahi Dry) to refill/ get a new flavour.
Worth the trip! And it’s FREE !
A Beer Lovers Paradise I must say. We went there on a weekend so we are not that fortunate to see the production process, However, they still give tours, a FREE TOUR. Just make a reservation via phone, if you don't have a Japanese number, you may also ask your Hotel Front Desk to assist you. For Non Japanese speaking tourists like us, you just have to ask a headset from the reception, they have this laminated paper where instructions were given.
Also, you will notice some people wearing an ID/Pass, so don't panic. Those are just for the designated drivers or people that came there using a vehicle (Bicycles, Motorbikes and Cars).
They have 14 stops, which gives brief discussion about the things that is happening on that specific area of production which is a cool thing.
And the final and the most awaited thing is the FREE BEER TASTING. Each person get to taste (3) half pint Beer of your choice for 20mins. They will also teach you how to pour your canned beer in a glass the right way.
Really wonderful tour with cheerful and fun tour guide. Audio guide available in English. At the end you get 20~30 minutes to sample 3 beers, more than enough (couldn't even get through them all), and soft drinks for people driving. Nice gift shop too. Best part of my Sapporo trip so far!
Tourists get some knowledge about Asahi Brewery. After the tour of the whole process of brewery, tourists get to sample di types of Asahi beer. For those who do not drink beer, they have juices, sodas or coffee. There is a souvenir shop too
