Not what it used to be in terms of exhibits.
The definite quality of the art collection might only be overshadowed by the beauty of the building. The structure as much houses as enhances the incredible exhibits inside, which include stirring pieces for both casual art enthusiasts and scholars alike. My visit to Savannah would not have been complete without experiencing the Jepson Center.
Great museum right in the center of Savannah. Don't leave without visiting all three museums, this one is a must. It has great collections of a wide variety of periods. In particular, the American impressionism collection surprised me. Of course, the statue of the bird girl (I forgot the official title) is here, which is probably a tourist favorite.
