Since Covid, I have limited my shopping to grocery and drug stores. Frieze is the one exception: I am happy that the store requires masks be worn properly. Since Frieze first opened, it has been my go-to for unique gifts and decor. Robert (and Bailey!) are a great team. He really loves his shop and is always happy to share his knowledge of all things Asian with me, the customer of many questions. It always smells delightful and I love the background music.
I highly recommend this oasis of calm!
Recently found this little shop while exploring Savannah and loved everything about it. The owner was very friendl, helpful and knowledgeable about the wide variety of products in the store. Bailey, the dog, was so laid back...will make ya smile just by walking in. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone visiting Savannah!
I understand that in an abnormal and concerning time, businesses are adopting necessary rules and precautions. But these rules (customers required to wear masks) can be explained without rudeness or judgment, I would also expect them to be posted and adhered to by the staff. I believe it is important to give patronage to local businesses during these difficult times and that I am blessed to live in such an inviting and hospitable city; with that said, it is for these reasons I will never give a dollar to Frieze.
The dog was friendly.
The shop worker was VERY rude. Not coming from Georgia, we did not realize that masks were required nor was it posted. The shop worker came up and curtly asked, “do you have masks?” I smiled and said “we don’t.” The shop worker then snapped, “then you must leave!” My husband and I were startled and looked at each other and the shop worker said “NOW!”
It was terrible service that was simply so rude.
Super friendly knowledgeable owner. Amazing products at very reasonable prices.
