What a cool store! The art work is made by SCAD Alums. The person working at the shop was very friendly and knowledgeable. Take a break and check it out!

Nice selection, helpful owner, and simple to arrange shipping
4 Daedalus Gallery

Enjoyed every second in this gallery and enjoyed discussing the French countryside and Savannah with the artist. Would recommend going in for the art and staying for great conversation - she is beyond welcoming and kind. Everyone compliments out pieces we acquired and we cannot wait to go back.
5 Roots Up Gallery

images
Located in Savannah's "Design District" just off Whittaker Street, Roots Up has something for everyone with an eclectic collection of art and more. If you can't find something you like here, you never will. Leslie Lovell has an accomplished curator's eye and casts a wide net. The atmosphere is calming and inviting, you'll want to stay awhile and find your special piece. There's probably a story behind it. Don't miss this place.

9 Frieze

images
Since Covid, I have limited my shopping to grocery and drug stores. Frieze is the one exception: I am happy that the store requires masks be worn properly. Since Frieze first opened, it has been my go-to for unique gifts and decor. Robert (and Bailey!) are a great team. He really loves his shop and is always happy to share his knowledge of all things Asian with me, the customer of many questions. It always smells delightful and I love the background music.
I highly recommend this oasis of calm!
10 Liquid Sands Glass Gallery

images
Truly the best gallery of glass on the East Coast! Kym & John have made it a place to linger long, and discover the many ways glass is used to create incredible art. I have had my eye on the big jelly for several months, I am thrilled that they have brought in the baby ones now also. I am starting with the baby first in honor of our baby girl (21yrs) I love that they are American made! It is a gallery providing for glass artists all over America to have a place to showcase and sell their art. Perfect place to visit with a cup of coffee. It is a Savannah treasure and a 'must see' spot!!
11 AR Workshop Savannah

We had our after lunch Christmas party here. The team really enjoyed picking out and making their own wooded projects. The atmosphere was great and the staff was awesome. I highly recommend you check this place out . We all had a blast and can’t wait to come back.
12 Telfair Museums

images
Very nice museum with plenty of natural light. The exhibits were well curated and there was a bit of everything for everyone. One was a photography exhibit, there was a oil paintings exhibit, a paper crafts exhibit, and a new technology with earth as the concept exhibit (that one was very interesting) along with indoor and outdoor sculptures. The price is great considering one ticket gets you access to 3 venues. Definitely recommend taking advantage of that
13 Jepson Center for the Arts

images
The definite quality of the art collection might only be overshadowed by the beauty of the building. The structure as much houses as enhances the incredible exhibits inside, which include stirring pieces for both casual art enthusiasts and scholars alike. My visit to Savannah would not have been complete without experiencing the Jepson Center.
16 Telfair Academy

images
The Telfair Academy is a clean, informative, and contemplative space that provides a welcome quiet reprieve for those looking to have a glimpse into Savannah’s history. A word of advice, bring a pair of headphones for your phone as the Academy is offering audio tours via QR barcodes at the various exhibits. This adds a level of depth to the displays as there are a few that have minimal information in writing. The staff is courteous and helpful, and there are easy to follow signs on the floors indicating the flow of travel. Grab your masks and head over to the Telfair Academy for some quiet contemplation on life, art, and an integral piece of Savannah’s history.
17 Savannah Cultural Arts Center

Beautiful new venue for performances and classes. You need to park a block away in the Civic Center lot, but NBD.
18 SCAD Museum of Art

images
The 1 star posted without my knowledge. We actually had a great experience at the museum. The staff were both wonderful and knowledgeable about the art. All members truly made family feel welcome. Changed to 4 star experience, would love to come back.
19 Reynolds Square Fine Art Gallery

images
Within the historic area I found some beautiful works of art at this gallery. The artists were very nice and welcoming even allowing my dog to view the artwork as I did. Many of the works are focused on landscapes and sea settings. I understand many of the artists are local or have connections to the Savannah area. It is worth a visit if you have an interest in fine art.

Went to pick up some spray paint and left with a new favorite spot. I called ahead to check prices and that's was done no problem.
Upon arriving, David and Julia gave me good suggestions and alternatives for what I was looking for. They were knowledgeable and patient.
As I was checking out, I decided to get a paint market as well. Charlene provided helpful comparative information that guided me to a decision I was happy with.
Looking forward to future visits for quality items at a good price with good service.
