Reviews from visitors:
Saw it from the outside but it was magnificent. I love architecture and this had all kinds of architecture. Three different buildings with three different styles of architecture. Great lines and great sights. Definitely worth the visit if you enjoy the beauty of buildings
A very special museum, with a great mix of modern and traditional art. Very excited to visit again in 2022!
Very empty and a little pretentious. Soulless. But, as with most things in Kyoto this js a common occurrence
The Samsung museum of modern art is one of the coolest areas of Seoul, so it's great place to go and enjoy the different buildings of the museum, which takes a while. Currently there's a solo karaoke room interactive installation, that's a lot of fun. We went in the early afternoon and the museum was surprisingly not very busy! Staff are very friendly and taught us how to say thank you in Korean. Just down the road from the museum there's a few great restaurants to choose from and quite a few boutiques and stores to peek into.
Overall would thoroughly recommend a trio to the museum!
I really loved walking around the museum. The building and area is beautiful and I loved the art displayed. The way the artwork was displayed was wonderful and I liked how the traditional art wing had a few select pieces of modern art to complement it and add context. I'll definitely come again next time I visit Seoul.
