Reviews from visitors:
The Bell tower for the cathedral of Seville. It was originally built as the minarat for Great Mosque of Seville in al-Andalus, Moorish Spain, during the reign of the Almohad dynasty. During construction at the time I was visiting but still a marvel and historic view of the city.
Wonderful piece of history! I came here when visiting Sevilla and because of traffic, we were extremely late, we had booked at 11am but got there for 1pm and they still allowed us in with our tickets which was really cool. There are 35 floors of like a ramp up to the top of the tower, but it's well worth the climb as the views are spectacular! Also there is so much art and religious symbols inside of the cathedral! You could truly spend all day in there! Would recommend the visit, whether you are religious or not it's still a great view on history.
34 ramps up to pretty spectacular views! There are places on the route up where you can catch you breath if you're concerned about the climb. It's definitely worth doing whilst in Seville especially if you're doing the cathedral. A little windy at the top in February, but it would be a welcome respite I expect in the 40*c August!
The bells on the tower are used throughout the day so beware!
Entrance from inside the cathedral.
Famous tower where you can climb without steps. Still it is a 34 'floors' up, so some fitness is recommended. The inside is not great. Once you reach the top you can have a nice view of the city. It gets quite cramped with the many people visiting, so don't expect to stay up there long.
Iconic and offers a nice view over the city of Seville from the top of the tower.
